Liz Hoskins is the founder of Positive Qualities and a specialist in staff and customer experience, speaking at the BWC Edinburgh 8:45 Business Connections event on creating positive change in business. She brings a wealth of experience from a career working with some of the UK’s most recognised organisations, including Marks & Spencer PLC, Tesco Stores Ltd, and House of Fraser, where she developed a strong foundation in retail leadership, training, and organisational development.
Following her early career in management and training, Liz pursued her passion for people development, spending many years working with a diverse range of businesses and charities. This experience shaped her practical, insight-led approach to business transformation and ultimately led her to establish Positive Qualities.
Liz is the creator of the W.O.W. System™ (Ways of Working), a business improvement framework built around people, processes, performance, and innovation. Rather than being a traditional training programme, it is a structured, evidence-based system designed to create measurable, sustainable change within organisations. Her work focuses on improving employee engagement, strengthening leadership, enhancing customer experience, and building high-performing teams.
She is known for her ability to step into complex or underperforming environments and quickly identify the root causes of challenges. Her approach is highly collaborative, working closely with leadership teams and staff to create practical, lasting solutions that drive results. Over the years, Liz has supported organisations to achieve significant outcomes, including major increases in sales performance and reaching number one positions within their sectors.
